Braemar appoints new Managing Director for Adjusting – Europe and West Africa

Braemar Technical Services are pleased to announce Geoff Thomas will be assuming the role of Interim Managing Director – Adjusting, Europe and West Africa, with immediate effect.

Geoff joined Braemar in 2006 following a long career in the Royal Navy where he specialised in submarine operations, ultimately commanding both nuclear and diesel powered submarines. Qualified as a Master Mariner (RN equivalent) he has over 30 years of experience in operating complex engineering systems in the maritime environment.

Geoff was Managing Director – Europe and West Africa from 2010 – 2015 but continued in a consultancy role applying his wealth of knowledge to the Marine and Energy insurance sectors adjusting claims concerning sub-sea and seismic equipment, offshore platforms and pipelines, as well as onshore power plants including nuclear plants.
