As part of Braemar’s ongoing drive to innovate and improve on the service offerings we bring to our clients, we are pleased to announce that with effect from 1 November 2018, Ian McInroy, current Managing Director of Europe & West Africa, Adjusting Division, will assume the position of Director of Strategic Development for the Braemar Technical Division.
Ian’s engineering, adjusting, management and business development experience position him uniquely to take on this new and challenging role and he has clearly demonstrated that he is up for a new challenge. During the last five years within Braemar he has established a strong understanding as to the opportunities that exist for growth within the division and continued to demonstrate a clear understanding of our vision as to how and where we can grow the business.
Ian will work closely with the Global Managing Director of the technical division (Grant Smith) and the Global Heads (Geoff Jones, Michael Chan & Sheila McClain) on a variety of initiatives, in order to implement our growth strategy. Ian’s initial focus will see him working most closely with Sheila McClain (Global Head of Engineering & Naval Architecture) to optimise existing opportunities in the recovering Oil & Gas sector, an area which has been identified by Braemar as a fundamental part of the growth strategy for the technical division.
Within Adjusting, the transition of Ian’s day to day case files will be conducted in an organised manner, with Geoff Jones (Global head of Marine & Adjusting), existing London based Director Allan Kelly and the other regional MD’s for Adjusting, working closely with Ian to ensure a smooth transition for all clients.
We look forward to welcoming Ian into his new position.
